A dragon is a supernatural creature that, in Danny Phantom, tends to originate from a ghostly artifact.
History
In "Parental Bonding," Dora, Paulina, and Sam all transform into dragons at different points due to Dora's Amulet of Aragon. Dora is seen in her dragon form in "Prisoners of Love," "Reign Storm," and "Phantom Planet." In "Beauty Marked," both Prince Aragon and Dora transform into dragons due to their respective amulets, and fight each other in dragon form. In "Boxed Up Fury," the Box Ghost releases a hydra from Pandora's Box.
Characteristics
When a ghost or human wears an Amulet of Aragon, they start to exhibit dragon-like features, such as scales, fangs, and forked tongues, before fully transforming into a dragon. The transformation is usually caused by the wearer being under extreme emotional duress, but it can be triggered voluntarily. A ragon's amulet turns the wearer into a black-and-purple dragon, while Dora's amulet turns the wearer into a blue dragon.
Powers and Abilities
- Intangibility: Standard ghost power.
- Invisibility: Standard ghost power.
- Flight: Standard ghost power.
- Fire Breathing: They can generate fire within themselves and breathe out flames as an attack.
- Transformation: Beings who have a capable ghostly artifact can transform into a dragon and back.
- Supernatural durability: Dragons are incredibly resistant, though not immune to damage.
Weaknesses
- Amulet: If someone wearing the Amulet of Aragon has the amulet removed from their neck while in dragon form, then they'll revert to their normal form.
