The Crystal Ball Staff is a powerful magical scepter Freakshow used to enslave and control ghosts. The staff has been in Freakshow's family for a long time.

Appearance[]

The Crystal Ball Staff is a bright red cane-like scepter with a red bat statuette on the top of the staff holding a bright ruby-red crystal ball radiating with concentrated, strong, swirling supernatural energy.

History[]

Freakshow used a family heirloom of his called the Crystal Ball Staff to control ghosts' minds and ultimately built his own traveling carnival, Circus Gothica. Freakshow used these ghosts to help him becoming rich by committing a series of robberies.

This pleases the evil ringmaster who has an intention of not only being incredibly wealthy but also to enslave and control all ghosts in the world, until Danny destroyed the Crystal Ball Staff, and the Circus Gothica was disbanded and the ghosts were set free while Freakshow was left being trapped in a pile of stolen goods and later quickly arrested for his crimes.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Mind Control: The Crystal Ball Staff works like a hypnotic spell and it is VERY powerful, capable of placing any ghost or half-ghost from a mere glance into a trance-like state evil slaves. Even just looking at it is enough to put ghosts under its control. Whether in human or ghost form, Danny and three other ghosts, end up being controlled by looking at Freakshow's Crystal Ball Staff. Even if they aren’t near the Staff, they could still be controlled if the Staff is on a billboard or a screen.
  • Clairvoyance: In "Control Freaks" Freakshow used a form of clairvoyance to see the image of Danny Phantom in the crystal ball while still searching for the ghost to put under his control after having control of Elastica, Goliath, and a dwarf ghost.
