Masters' Blasters were a team of three teenage ghost hunters, created by Vlad during "Phantom Planet" to upstage Danny Phantom and take his position as Amity Park's hero.
History[]
During "Phantom Planet", Vlad, vengeful for the destruction of the Vladco satellite, creates Masters' Blasters as his personal ghost-hunting team, with the purpose of eliminating Danny through upstaging him.
They always appear while Danny is fighting a ghost and capture it themselves, humiliating Danny in the process; this got so bad for Danny that he felt that the only way out was to give up his ghost powers.
When the Disasteroid approaches the Earth, they, along with Jack, go in a spaceship to destroy it, but are tricked by Vlad into destroying the wrong asteroid. They later find out Vlad's secret identity and immediately turn on him, but are swiftly incapacitated in the process.
It’s currently unknown what became of them, but it’s implied that they disbanded after the events of "Phantom Planet", due to Vlad's absence and ruined reputation and Danny regaining his position as a hero.
Appearance[]
Masters' Blasters wear black-and-red costumes with red masks over their eyes. They wield an array of high-tech ghost-hunting equipment, designed and provided by Vladco.
Personality[]
Masters' Blasters are a group of arrogant teenagers who greatly enjoy the fame and fortune of being the best ghost hunters, not knowing that they are merely pawns in Vlad's plan. Once they realize that, they turn on Vlad.

Download[]
Download is the smallest of the trio and wears a blue-grey baseball cap backwards. He has a gauntlet that acts similar to a Fenton Thermos, allowing him to capture ghosts by "downloading" them into it.
Thrash[]
Thrash has pointy blond hair tied back in a low ponytail and is twice as large in stature as the others, standing a full head taller than them. He’s one of the few characters seen wearing braces on his teeth. He’s able to drive the team's ghost assault vehicle.
Vid[]
Vid has red hair tied in a high ponytail, wears pink lipstick and has a mole under her right eye. She appears to be the team's leader, as well as its only female member. She’s comfortable doing combat on a weaponized skateboard.
Equipment[]
- Supernatural Endurance: It also increases their durability, as they was able to survive without serious damages after having been knocked away by a behemoth ghost.
- Masters' Blasters suit: Download, Thrash, Vid wear protective suits to protect themselves and hide their identity from their enemies when they goes out fighting ghosts.
- Anti-ecto Shuriken-like disk launcher: Vid has a shuriken-like anti-ecto disc launcher on her right gauntlet which activates when it is aimed.
- Monical
- Utility belt: Each member of the group wears a utility belt with many gray pouches and silver cylindrical cartridges attached to its outside. Download and Vid wear an additional utility belt strapped around their left leg.
- Ecto guns: They have several models of them with different levels of power.
- Plasmius Thermos: Download's and Vid's gauntlets can trap ghosts by sucking them into it.
- Wrist-mounted holographic projector
- Jet packs: They use it to chase ghosts on the air.
- Van: Download, Thrash, Vid have a van to help them travel around Amity Park.
- Jet: Download, Thrash, Vid have a jet to help them travel around Amity Park.

- Masters' Blasters succeed in capturing all of the following ghosts: Vortex, Undergrowth, Prince Aragon, Desiree, Skulker, the Lunch Lady, Technus, Box Ghost, Executioner Ghost and Youngblood. They are also seen chasing Spectra, Johnny 13 and Klemper, but it’s unknown if they captured them or failed.
- Vid bears a strong physical resemblance to Vicky, an antagonist in The Fairly OddParents! another show that was created by Butch Hartman. Both characters are teenage girls, are redheads with ponytails, wear pink lipstick and are the main characters enemy.
