Time travel logic flaw[]

Firstly, I think the bit about the flaw should be under Goofs instead of Trivia. Secondly, this is what I came up with to counter the apparent flaw:

  • 1) In the original timeline (without Clockwork's interference), Danny cheated, causing Lancer to call his parents to meet him at the Nasty Burger. Jazz being her overprotective self, and Sam and Tucker being Danny's best friends, they naturally turned up as well. So we have all the Fentons, plus Sam and Tucker, gathered at the Nasty Burger. Something happens at the Nasty Burger (see third paragraph) that caused an explosion, and somehow or other Danny wasn't with the rest when the NB blew up and killed them (edit: uh, duh, how could I have missed this point: he probably went intangible and thus wasn't blown up). Indirectly, it was Danny cheating that caused a sequence of events that ended up with his loved ones gathered somewhere that eventually blew up. Danny feels unbearable pain and goes to find Vlad for the "operation" that leads to Dark Danny's creation.
  • 2) In the alternate timeline, Clockwork interfered, and Dark Danny wanted to ensure that Danny still experiences the same heartbreaking agony that caused him to look for Vlad for the "operation". So Dark Danny went back in time and made sure the same group of people were gathered at the right place for the upcoming explosion. Oh, and so nice of Clockwork to send Box Lunch to fight Danny earlier, which caused the Nasty Burger to blow up partly, and leaving the sauce vault exposed to some sort of heater. This is what caused the explosion in this alternate timeline.
  • 3) It is also possible that Clockwork had always planned on interfering, especially judging by the dialogue between Danny and Clockwork near the end of the episode (after Danny defeats Dark Danny and was too late to save his loved ones and Clockwork appears and freezes time):
    • Clockwork: "I see the parade from above. All the twists and turns it might, or might not, take."
    • Danny: "You knew all of this was going to happen. All of it! Even this part!"
    • From that we can speculate that Box Lunch was also sent to fight Danny in the original timeline, hence resolving the "something happens at the Nasty Burger that made it explode" part.
  • 4) Although, of course, there is still the issue about future Vlad informing Danny of what happened, which should have ensured that Danny will not go to Vlad and Dark Danny (in the "present" time era) should have evaporated. Ah well, cartoon physics. What can you do? I am getting such a headache.--Secretss 12:10, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  • 5) Ohhh, hey, here's another point to note: Dark Danny exists because of Clockwork's time medallion. Dark Danny exists out of time, hence he er, exists. Regardless of Danny and whatever choice Danny will make. Cool, isn't it?--Secretss 13:34, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
